How long have you been doing this?

We have a combined experience total of 15 years in the industry. Rob’s been at this for 5 years with years more experience in the events & music industry, and Jensen’s been in the industry for a decade. This experience comes in handy, and we encourage you to use our knowledge to your advantage.

How do we plan an engagement session?

Together! We work together to plan a session that feels like you. We never want a session to just feel like a photoshoot, so we don’t put a time limit on your session, and encourage you to choose activities that are fun to you. One of our favourite sessions was out at a couple’s cabin. We took their dog for a walk, went swimming in the lake, Rob made dinner and dessert, we played board games until 2am, and Jensen made breakfast in the morning. If we had it our way we’d still be at that cabin living our best lives…

How do we know what will be played at our wedding?

Through a lot of detailed planning and questionnaires. There truly is a questionnaire for everything. You go through music consults with Rob that cover your vibe, what you’d like played, and what will be required from a rental and technical aspect. All of your music equipment rentals are included in your package price, so you don’t have to worry about anything.

How do you describe your image style?

Moody, fun, with a use of bold lighting and shadows. Jensen’s work is anything but boring, and uses both natural and artificial light to her advantage. Jensen wants your images to best express you, which is why she takes so much time getting to know you, your personalities, your likes and dislikes, and works hard to make you feel at home in front of the camera. In the end, you’ll get print-worthy images with a film-like nostalgia and a creative use of lighting. Check out the gallery for more of Jensen’s work

What if we don't need everything in the package?

When it comes to our menu of offerings, we’ve built them out based on what our clients have needed and wanted in the past. However, we definitely understand that this isn’t a one-size-fits-all situation. If you’re looking to customize, we are happy to sit down and chat about your needs, and build something to suit you.

What do you value when working with couples?

We value couples that are open, honest, and not afraid to step out of the box. We’re here for those who may be doing things a little differently, and are doing that differently in an unapologetic way. We’re both bold personalities with no intention of toning it down, and we work well with couples who are unapologetically themselves.

How far in advance should we book?

Our books fill up quickly, so as soon as possible! In addition to weddings, we also run events and music shows throughout the year, so schedules get tight fast. So, we recommend locking down your date as soon as you can!
